As someone who grew up with dogs, writing for pet people was a no-brainer. Chewy’s carefree voice made it fun to explore new territories, like allergy relief and in-person veterinary healthcare.
Working on such a broad spectrum of projects in their healthcare division has pushed me in many new directions. Recently, I’ve been building out Chewy’s first Spring Allergy campaign—because yes, pets get allergies too. Outside of that, I worked on Connect with a Vet, which lets pet parents ask our vet team anything, anytime. This project perfectly captured the challenge of balancing serious moments for pet owners with a fun, Chewy-fied tone. Previously, I worked with a shoestring budget to create authentic, native TikToks. I loved the challenge of turning Chewy into a TikTok voice. And doing all of this at an office filled with dogs? An amazing perk. |
